The Challenge
Footings, rafts, and slabs rarely share the same thickness, so their undersides don't naturally line up. Getting every foundation element to sit at a consistent base level means calculating an offset by hand for each type, then repeating the exercise for every column and wall bearing on a raft or slab. Miss a single element and the model carries an elevation clash straight through to site.
Our Solution
Foundation Alignment checks every footing, raft, and slab in the model — or just the elements you select — and finds the thickest one to use as the reference plane. It calculates the exact height-above-level offset each remaining element needs to match that plane, then automatically applies the matching base offset to any column or wall sitting on an adjusted raft or slab, so the whole vertical relationship updates in a single operation.
Thickest-Element Reference
Automatically finds the footing, raft, or slab with the greatest thickness in the run and uses it as the baseline every other element aligns to.
Footings, Rafts & Slabs Together
Calculates the right offset for isolated footings and structural slabs or rafts in the same pass — no separate runs for each element type.
Selected or Whole-Model Runs
Pick exactly the elements to adjust, or process every foundation element in the active view with a single click.
Automatic Column Base Offset
Finds which structural columns sit within an adjusted slab or raft's footprint and updates their base level offset to keep them seated correctly.
Automatic Wall Base Offset
Applies the same base-offset correction to structural walls bearing on an adjusted raft or slab, keeping wall bases in step with the new elevations.
Run History Logging
Records project, discipline, and element-count details for every run, ready for coordination review.
